Legal Secretary

LSV Borrello Lawyers are currently seeking an experienced Legal Secretary with litigation experience to join our team in the Perth office.

Supporting a number of senior fee earners, the role will include:

  • Drafting, amending and formatting of correspondence and documents
  • Preparing briefs and Court documents
  • Liaising with clients
  • Filing and document management
  • Invoicing
  • Diary, travel and event management

To be considered for this role, you will need a minimum of 2 years of legal secretarial experience with a knowledge and understanding of litigation law. You will need to be a team player, able to support a number of fee earners, have a high attention to details and a ‘can do’ attitude. You will need to be willing to pitch in regardless of the task and show a commitment to a high level of client service. We are looking for someone who is positive, proactive and able to demonstrate initiative.

Legal Receptionist/Outside Clerk

LSV Borrello Lawyers are currently seeking a Legal Receptionist/Outside Clerk to join our team in the Perth office.

The role includes:

  • Taking incoming calls and dealing with post and couriers
  • Greeting clients
  • Setting up and clearing of meeting rooms
  • Lodging documents in the Courts and Landgate
  • Attending settlements
  • Secretarial support and Dictaphone typing
  • Photocopying, scanning, binding, filing and archiving
  • Ordering of office and kitchen supplies
  • Maintaining common areas as tidy and clean at all times
  • Updating and maintaining registers (Excel)

To be considered for this role, you will need a minimum of 2 years of reception experience, preferably within a law firm. You will need to be well presented and have a strong customer focus, be a team player with a high attention to details and a ‘can do’ attitude. You will need to be positive, proactive, able to show initiative and willing to take on new tasks.
